What You Will Do

  • Build an in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the different aspects of the Mako business
  • Provide general financial and business support to different departments within the Mako organization
  • Support in expense management, variance to budget/projection analysis, and month end close activities
  • Assist in the Capital Revenue Recognition Process, transactional deal support, and subsequent placement and pipeline reporting
  • Assist in the development and distribution of performance metric reporting to the Mako leadership team
  • Partner with our Mako business partners to provide detailed reporting, systems maintenance, and general organization insights to help build organizational efficiency
  • Own and/or support projects and initiatives critical to the growth and expansion of the Mako sales and support business

What You Need

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance related field.  Prefer CPA, CFA and/or Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance.  Also prefer experience in SAP with focus on data analytics, data mining, and dashboard construction
  • 2+ years demonstrated successful experience (in the medical device or relevant industry is an advantage but not a pre-requisite)
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service and analytical skills
  • Experience of working within a Sarbanes Oxley compliant organization
  • Investment analysis experience within the Medical Device or similar industry is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
  • Proficient technical application skills that enable use of multiple financial systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, PowerBI, databases, etc.)"
