Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delegates operational responsibilities to immediate team based on priorities, business volumes and team projects.
  • Documents operational issues to for effective team accountability and positive reinforcements. 
  • Provide support beyond standard hours as needed if call volume and/or workload require additional time
  • Assist with the training of new team members throughout the region in the areas of inventory and customer service.
  • Inspect Loaner Sets for damage, defects, or shortages
  • Understand all functions of the loaner bank which include but not limited to Receiving, Shipping, Scheduling and Replenishing Implant banks and Instrument sets
  • Prepare product for scheduled surgeries
  • Interact with the team members during service level investigations
  • Maintain Loaner Bank line clearance to avoid product errors
  • Support management in preparation for Loaner Bank Audits
  • Review overdue shipment returns and partner and communicate to our field customers to expedite return to the Loaner Bank
  • Rotate through all functions in National Loaners and be knowledgeable on cross-docking, consolidation, shipping, and expeditor functions as it related to the daily needs of the business
  • Follow up on orders using strong knowledge of freight traceability including daily contact with Curriers

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Associates Degree in a Supply Chain Operations or 5 + years in a demanding, fast paced warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Medical Device Background preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods for product or order fulfillment.  This includes situational needs assessment, product usage, and inventory control systems and processes
  • Demonstrated understanding of supply chain management and logistics
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated Computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Access, MySQL, ERP Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, and Inventory Management Systems, use of RFID technology)
  • Demonstrated phone skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call as needed
  • Must be able and willing to work successfully in a Team Environment
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Accurately pick and build production kits for orders based on a posted Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Understand bill-of-materials, sub-assemblies, and materials consumed for parts and kits
  • Recognize mistakes in BOM and take actions to correct
