About The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking expressions of interest for Demand Planner opportunities in 2019! As a Demand Planner, you will facilitate the demand management process by generating a forecast for allocated brands for the Stryker South Pacific market.

What You Will Do:

  • Development of the baseline statistical forecast using the demand planning system to support the monthly demand. Using inputs from the Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments and providing value add intelligence to the forecast
  • Advise management on future inventory spend and communication of forecast into global IBP process
  • Conducts root cause analysis and corrective action planning to understand sales forecast accuracy and bias performance to support the feedback to Sales and Marketing teams
  • Provides the detailed analysis and reporting of forecast trends and accuracy to annual sales/operating plan to identify, communicate, and address gaps
  • Responsible for suggesting and maintaining JDE Master Planning Families based on their relevance, as per the planning timetable

What you need:

  • Two to five years proven experience in procurement and/or production planning
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Good knowledge of the end to end supply chain and the impacts of the Demand signal
  • Previous experience using an ERP system
