Job Description

Jolife AB/Stryker are working globally with the LUCAS device for mechanical CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). LUCAS is spread in 84 countries around the world and there are more than 300 scientific publications with the LUCAS device.

Your key responsibilities

In this Specialist position you will facilitate and develop the company’s global relationship with the medical/scientific community, including physicians, nurses and medical centers who participate in clinical trials with the LUCAS device. This information gives perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products and bringing new products to market. Overall you will be the link between Customers, Marketing, Quality, Development and Clinical Affairs. To sum it up, this is a role for an expert/specialist who likes to strongly influence the direction of product development in the area of CPR in the future. Other major responsibilities are:

  • Literature search via Pubmed and other data bases.
  • Discuss and perform research in the CPR area, internal as well as external.
  • Assist in medical writing, usability project as well as post market follow up.
  • Maintain clinical documents library and keep it current.
  • Clinical Marketing.
  • Evaluate and analyze clinical data.

What we are looking for

  • To succeed in the role you are a driven and flexible person with a curiosity for research and documentation.
  • You are a communicative person who can transfer skills and knowledge in an informative and easy digestible way.
  • You are clear in your message and not afraid to question if needed.
  • This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 6 or more years’ experience from research and/or Cardiology or Intensive Care. If you also have experience from the medical device industry it is excellent.
  • Furthermore, you enjoy working in an international environment characterized by quick turns, actions and focus on saving lives.
  • You work independently, take own initiatives and you use English and Swedish fluently in speech and writing. The job also requires good analytical skills as well as evaluative judgement based on the analysis of factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations.
  • You will be a part of the Clinical Department/Clinical Marketing and report to the Director of Clinical Affairs. You are operating in a dynamic international environment as part of a global company.
  • You will be placed in Lund, Sweden at Ideon Science Park, most time will be spent at the office, however we estimate travel time for the role to be 10-15%.
