What You Will Do: The Associate Market Insights Manager will manage the competitive insights program and is responsible for communicating the competitive and market insights information on behalf of the business. This individual will analyze trends, market, competitor, customer and industry information to develop key insights for strategic and initiative planning. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver information and insights to the internal stakeholders regarding competitors, industry, market trends and customer segments
  • Develop category, segment or market deep dives reports on topical issues or priority market segments driven by the expressed priorities of leadership and/or the business
  • Manage regular communications of market and competitive information and insights including newsletters, earnings commentary
  • Produce and present strategic analyses regarding industry, market, competitors and adjacent spaces
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to help answer questions of strategic value with regard to our external environment
  • Manage regular customer research programs to monitor customer perceptions and assist in additional strategic research programs, on time and on budget
  • Partner with Marketing, R&D and leadership to provide support on Ad Hoc analysis requests
  • Present information, recommendations and insights to leadership & cross functional team members.
  • Participate in strategic and marketing planning processes
  • Participate in Cross-Divisional Market Insights council
  • Assist in strategic war games and other events to support strategic decisions
  • Provide feedback on key market, competitor and customer insights and recommendations. Assist as needed with key projects within the group.
  • Support director and Sr. Director as needed with other ad hoc requests.

What you Need:

  • 5+ years of commercial management, business planning and /or market research experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Demonstrated success in insight production & management
  • Demonstrated analytic marketing knowledge & experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence/guide cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with the Big Picture Framework preferred

Work From Home: Remote

Travel Percentage: 20%
