Job Description

Main objective / purpose of the role:

This is a position that contribute to deliver the result through demand, supply, inventory management, project activities with setting goals and achieving KPI’s. This role requires to blend planners into team and support planning manager as an effective communication channel. To extended a role as people manager in the future, it requires to do hands-on franchise independently, build relationship skills through collaborating various internal & external stakeholders. In addition to this responsibility, there’s opportunity to grow as a people manager with direct reports in multiple background within East Asia and lead cross-country teams potentially. In conclusion, this role enables people to achieve the target of teams by focusing and maximizing customers‘ satisfaction and company’s growth.

Critical success factors / key deliverables:

  • Plan, purchase and manage Stryker products to achieve the goals of Planning and business.
  • Work closely with sales & marketing, finance, regulatory to reconcile order/shipment forecast to business plan and have a periodical inventory meeting with S&M to review the forecasting activities.
  • Understand end to end supply, manage daily/weekly/monthly sales orders, monitor shipment status with warehouse and record the proper information into JDE system.
  • Analyze and review historical sales report or statistical analysis report and forecast demand accordingly.       
  • Liaise with Trade & Customs, and Warehouse to deliver the products in a timely manner at the lowest possible cost with most efficient delivery way to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and secure all saleable and non-salable inventories at optimum level
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute SO and PO process and follow up the process until receiving products to warehouse.
  • Evaluate the SO & PO process and recommends process improvements or change to maintain ISO13485 certification. 
  • Correspond with suppliers for open & backorder management and supply issues such as packaging, shipping, PLCM, demand forecast,
  • Manage inventory and ensure to meet the inventory KPI such as DII, E&O, Inventory trend
  • Follow up quality management procedures(ISO) and any other required financial audit(FCPA/SOX)
  • Actively involve in regular or irregular stock counting to ensure the correct inventory planning and P&L reflection.
  • Provide on-the-job supervisor and training to junior staffs
  • Set-up key Operations team KPIs and keep monitoring and analyzing actual results vs. targets
  • Identify ‘process improvement or cost saving opportunities and implement projects
  • Knows and applies different implementation and project management

Knowledge / Skills / Attributes

           At least 8 years of working experience in a variety of Supply Chain areas: S&OP, Demand Planning, Inventory & Supply planning

  • Logistics or Supply Chain project management is advantageous.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Experience in Medical Device or Equivalent
  • Superior Excel/Macro/VBA Skills
  • JDE, SAP and BI experience
  • Leadership with good reputation
  • Relationship building and communication skills
