Job Description: The Associate Manager, Customer Operations is an entry level manager role and leads a team of Professionals and/or Supervisors. Has Ownership for the delivery of day to day support and process improvements for Customer Operations within the facility.

Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages Customer Operations Team.
  • Manages resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Review, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day to day administration of processes and formal procedures.
  • Drives and leads engagement within the team
  • Ensure that the ERP systems supported by the team are maintained to the highest possible standard with maximum levels of efficiency.
  • Manage ERP enhancements and upgrades in conjunction with relevant stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Manage the efficient and effective execution of all warehousing activities and process improvements
  • Manage Projects that drive business goals at a Plant, Campus and Divisional level
  • Improve ERP functionality and performance and provide suggestions for system and business improvements.
  • Manage relationships with both customer base and internal stakeholders
  • Have the ability to identify training needs and development opportunities for the Customer Operations Team.
  • Champions breakthrough Order Management / Distribution Solutions that support Stryker's mission, strategy and goals
  • Determines action steps and milestones required to implement initiatives and processes; adjusts activities or timelines as circumstances warrant
  • Ensures that breakthrough solutions are sustained over time
  • Shows agility and flexibility in responding to new or rapidly changing situations
  • Increases business impact by building collaborative networks internally and externally
  • Builds positive relationships and a sense of teamwork by communicating and reinforcing openness and consistency in meeting commitments
  • Actively encourages sharing talent, knowledge and expertise to achieve the best possible results
  • Collaboratively works to set meaningful performance objectives; sets specific development goals and identifies milestones for goal achievement
  • Holds people accountable for having a sound rationale and framework for taking action
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ​Bachelor's Degree Required; preferably within a Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, APICS related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 7+ years’ of relevant experience required; preferred in a manufacturing environment with at least 4 years supervisor experience.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. Receives coaching for complex issues.
  • Detailed knowledge of Supply Chain & Financial Principles
  • Experience with ERP functionality and concepts
  • Familiarity with Project management principles.
  • Experience with Information system troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated skill in developing automated ERP system enhancements
  • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Relevant professional body qualification or accreditations
  • Manages a Team of Customer Operations Specialists / Analysts and/or Supervisors
