The Associate Finance Manager, Business Development is responsible for driving business growth through financial analysis of potential business development opportunities.  The Associate Finance Manager, Business Development is the finance point of contact for all business development activities.  This role will also be used for supporting internal commercial strategy analytics.

What You Will Do:

  • Will research and translate current market dynamics into business case financial models.
  • Will partner with marketing teams to build robust assumption based financial models from the ground up.
  • Will periodically attend trade shows and other industry events to access potential target companies.
  • Will analyze and benchmark current and past product performance against financial model projections.
  • Will construct and present financial rationale for executive approval.
  • Will lead onsite financial due diligence assessments of target companies.
  • Will manage and develop relationships with cross functional teams and outside consultants.
  • Will monitor and report deal metrics to executives.
  • Will manage and communicate BD teams’ budget and projections.

What Stryker Is Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in finance or accounting
  • MBA preferred
  • 5-8 years’ experience required / 3 years of those years in financial planning or BD modeling experience preferred
  • Strong skills working in teams and influencing change cross functionally
  • Well developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of critical thinking and problem solving
