What you will do

As an Asset Supervisor you will have primary responsibility for providing guidance, such as delegating work assignments to direct employees. The job requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, to supplement formal knowledge, in order to apply principles and concepts of own discipline in resolving issues as they arrive. The job is responsible for providing training for members of the team, monitoring the quantity and quality of the work in progress, coaching employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes.

  • Support the Operations strategy for the TR in your area of responsibility. This will require the provision of a detailed operational review of all processes, procedures, methods and tools to determine adequency to meet the performance objectives of the department.
  • Play an active role in setting and ensuring all KPI’s such as DOH, Kit OTIF, efficiency, quality & financial metrics are monitored effectively and achieved.
  • Manage your team ensuring that the best talent is sourced, developed, managed and engaged leading to a highly motivated team environment that meets and exceeds business expectations.
  • Take responsibility for operational and inventory management of your area with the expectation of driving cost and inventory down and a strong focus on Return-on-Investment (ROI) of consignment business / freestock and process optimisation.
  • Take ownership and participate in projects to further improve the European Stryker Operations function, resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimized inventory levels
  • Ensure all budgets are met, including management of headcount, outbound freight and re-use of instrumentation in partnership with PMs, Sales force and customers.
  • Implement and maintain a culture of continous improvement of service provided to our customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other Functions while driving leverage opportunities across the areas.
  • Play an active role in the European Operations team as we strive to Implement a world class Logistics and Customer Care Operation.  Critical to this will be the identification of appropriate benchmarks and the sharing of best practice that drives efficiency and productivity.
  • Provides business case and detailed cost justification to decision makers to obtain resources.
  • Leading or participation in cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure all Compliance, SOX, FCPA and Quality policies are implemented and applied in your area and robust procedures, work instructions, training are in place.
  • Deal directly with sales force / product managers and customers in relation to return of goods, investigation of traceability and regulatory factors and optimizing our inventory levels.
  • With Supply chain and complete quarterly review of freestock in the TR.
  • Review and submit DAR / Shrinkage Disposal requests, review the processes related to these and look for ways to reduce the waste.
  • Produce up to date and accurate management information relating to KPIs and objectives.
  • Liaise with and visit customers in order to partner with them to develop innovative solutions and solve issues

What you need

  • University degree, or equivalent, higher level of education in Business, Medical and/or Economy/Technical.
  • minimum of 4 or more years experience.
  • English - proficient in both written & spoken English.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking abilities and able to take decisions.
  • High level of trust and integrity.
  • Ability to work in a team and to solve problems.
  • Proactive style.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • This role has authority for setting individual targets, allocation of work/job scope, staff development, promotions, and recruitment within the team.
