Stryker Great North is looking for an energetic individual looking for the challenge and opportunity for individual growth and responsibility. First by learning the trauma and joint replacement products and processes for those loaner departments along with the demanding skills necessary to deliver those products and the delivery systems. This foundation will then be used in working with these teams to find streamlined solutions for medical device delivery and more efficient methods of returning those products back to the warehouse. This will require an individual with great interpersonal skills, problem solving ability, and the ability to implement procedural changes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated problem solving and management of complex delivery systems.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing customer services. This includes meeting quality standards for services.
  • Must be proficient using computer software and mobile device aps.
  • Valid Driver’s license with good driving record
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • Pull surgical instruments and implants for surgical cases
  • Create and/or review lists of delivery and pick-ups
  • Arrange merchandise and materials to customers (for direct use and consignment)
  • Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return)
  • Arrange merchandise at customer locations
  • Drive vehicle in order to deliver medical supplies
  • Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
  • Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products
  • Maintain records, reports, or files
  • Plan or organize work
  • Provide customer service in surface transportation
  • Service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil
  • Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment
  • Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record
  • Maintain transportation cleanliness, organization and maintenance
  • Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members
  • Record transactions and issues on customer receipts
  • Implement and support Quality initiatives throughout branch.
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
