We are currently seeking a Systems Network Project Manager located in Davie, Florida

What you will do

The Systems Network Project Manager drives the network system deliverables for all robotic development projects related with clinical and non-clinical software and associated hardware components. This role includes partnering with all of Research and Development in software, system and test capacities to define organizational vision, strategy & execution. The incumbent will participate in establishing project objectives, priorities and resource requirements. The System Network Project Manager will project and maintains network system schedules so that the team meets business demands in a timely and efficient manner while fulfilling all expectations of quality.

  • Develop and maintain robust, detailed project plan/tasks needed to align with program management plan
  • Provide clear and concise status updates to functional and program management
  • Clearly express roadblocks in a timely manner to avoid project delays
  • Clearly identify cross functional dependencies and work with other project leads and program management to ensure execution alignment
  • Liaison between operations and R&D to effectively manage sustaining work backlogs
  • Provide resource planning functional and program management for project planning and scoping
  • Anticipate resource constraints & support functional management with staffing and outsourcing options to alleviate constraint
  • Develop plan and manage systems team deliverables in line with program management plan
  • Mitigate technical and project risk by planning risk mitigation activities within project plan
  • Manage vendor relationships for all development related activities
  • Define technical deliverables for vendor to support development schedule
  • Prepare statement of work for vendors
  • Schedule and lead vendor meetings between vendor’s technical resources and internal development
  • Utilization of project management templates to ensure structured project management.

What you need

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Systems Engineering or related Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology
  • Experience in IT or software project management preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Strong background facilitating engineering team collaboration
  • Experience with Agile development methodology
  • Experience with vendor relationship management for developing proof-of-concepts, statement-of-works and communication management
  • Fluent with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Visio
  • Prior experience with system modeling and familiarity with modeling languages such as SysML.
