Independently determines and develops approaches to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Uses latest engineering  techniques to reduce product time to market whilst adhering to regulatory requirements, project deadlines and product costs. Builds productive internal and external working relationships and may periodically provide guidance and train  other team members. Complete technical understanding in the field of electrical engineering, including power supplies, monitors, computers, cables and PCBAs.

B.S in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 4 or more years experience or a related masters degree

Knowledge and Skills
-Review designs of electro-mechanical systems.
-Develop manufacturing test strategies for electro-mechanical systems.
-Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing.
-Select and develop suppliers that will understand and comply with our requirements.
-Utilize design transfer tools such as Process Flow chart, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis and Process Validation
-Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 
-Experience in executing complex problem solving techniques related to technical manufacturing and design issues.
-Time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
-Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial.
-Knowledge of the IEC 60601-x standards.
