Sales Associate, Trauma, East London

The Job’s Mission
Assists the sales teams to promote and sell a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers.
The Sales Associate will assist the Sales Representatives on informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline

Key Activities & Accountability
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information.
• Assisting Sales representatives with selling/demonstrating medical equipment within the theatre and clinical environment
• Assisting customer service / acquisitions of new customers
• Assisting with planning, executing and monitoring of all measures necessary to guarantee achieving budget
• Assisting with customer care for physicians, surgical/theatre staff and hospital administrator with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation
• Assisting with the organisation and conducting training, surgical/theatre participation, view surgeries and workshops
• Work with the Sales representatives in conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of in-house guidelines, up to contract conclusion
• Work with the Sales teams to coordinate the distribution and logistics of products (conditionals, deposits, kits) with the support of the related manager
• Assisting the sales teams in Controlling all the resources and materials of his related sales area. Optimisation of the resources
• Continuously develop and understand the new product development ranges in order to maximise the customer potential through the introduction of new products and broadening the product range with the customer
• To ensure Purchase order collection is made on time

Education: Tertiary qualification

Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous
