You will report directly to the Business Unit Director (BUD) Surgical, Nordics and support the Product Manager (PM) in carrying out various strategies and tasks to help reach the company's marketing goals and objectives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Compiles, analyses, and reports marketing data to help maintaining Stryker Surgical customer relationships
  • Researches market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that helps the BUD and PM to develop marketing plans.
  • Analyses surveys, polls, and other market research to look for patterns and trends, creates graphs, reports, and detailed data analysis using computer software and delivers reports on research findings through written documents and verbal presentations.
  • Assists in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, marketing copy, etc., provides support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.
  • Helps Sales team(s) identifying opportunities to win business in new accounts whilst supporting training (internal/external) on key products and procedures that we support.
  • Determine competitor strategies and product claims. Continuously work to obtain and report market data such as:
    • Market opportunities & gaps
    • Clinical and economic trends
    • Pricing (e.g. tender analysis)
    • General competitor activities
    • Top KOL’s and key hospitals
    • Franchise brand performance
    • Potential in specific upcoming key product launch(es)
  • Once market insight is obtained, use data to continuously refine the market strategy and feedback to the Nordic Management Team and to European Marketing.
  • On a regular basis conduct analysis related to market share, sales, volume, and margin. Share/present the result to the Nordic Management Team, e.g. in the form of monthly Eucomed data in case available.
  • Helps in the measurement and outcome of different strategical as well as tactical activities in the region
  • Responsible for coordinating HCP contracts and payments liaising with Events and Compliance teams.
  • Obtains and demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the Franchise product portfolio within the first 12 months in your role. This will be done in conjunction with the appropriate training and through immersion into the market place to fully understand customer needs and perception of the Stryker brand.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree in marketing or equivalent (e.g. business administration, life science, pharmaceutical or similar desirable)
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Ability to utilize both written and oral communications skills to produce effective Marketing promotion materials that accomplish department goals/objectives.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills, ability to structure yourself and your work as well as demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Effective project management skills as well as demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to deliver excellence results, ambitious and hardworking attitude
  • Your are fluent in Danish and English. Any other Nordic language (Finish, Norwegian, Swedish) is a plus.
