Stellenbeschreibung

The ProCare Contract Specialist is responsible for owning and driving in-country process for service contract renewals and warranty expirations, additional coverage, and generating contract revenue. They will own the functions of inbound lead generation, lead nurturing and revenue generation. The contract specialist will work close with local Marketing and Sales leaders to build and create ROI’s (data and presentations), proposals, and strategies for presentation. Responsible for increasing renewal and retention rates while growing year over year contract revenue.




Your key responsibilities:


  • Indirectly influence a team of sales representatives to manage new contracts and renewals to drive customer success, deliver quality service and ensure regulatory, compliance, and pricing expectations are met with all interactions within the contract creation process.
  • Develop yearly business plans focusing on a winning renewal strategy, including off manufacturer warranty in local market working cohesively with Marketing, Sales, and Technical Service leaders.
  • Attend customer meetings independently or jointly with sales, as needed, to provide expert understanding of products and services provided.
  • Present price and terms of the contractual agreement to the sales representatives and customers.
  • Work cohesively to educate Sales Representatives and team members on service contract pricing and strategies.
  • Generate and communicate new leads to designated Sales Representatives for them to further investigate with the customer.
  • Develop and Manage Renewal Strategy, renew contracts prior to expiration date, and increase renewal rate as specified in business objectives.
  • Develop and Manage New Build Warranty Expiration Strategy and Initiate contracts prior to expiration of warranty.
  • Track all leads and proposals in CRM or other tools to drive strategic execution and follow-up.
  • Manage corporate account service contracts with the Business Development team and be a point of contact for corporate procurement contacts. Prepare complex multi-site proposals.
  • Oversee any vacant territories ensuring existing renewals are managed by the respective sales manager or directly with the customer if required.
  • Work in partnership with Flex-Finance business manager on pricing for financed deals and manage revenue allocation process to ensure appropriate revenue recognition.
  • Manage local ProCare marketing activities including, the introduction of new products, SLA’s, exhibitions, trade shows and other related meetings.
  • Will work with sales to promote Stryker in-house repair capabilities and educate sales representatives and customers on the benefits of Stryker Service versus third party options.
  • Work with respective marketing and sales managers, ensuring service revenues are optimized in line with product obsolescence.
  • Operational management of ProCare Contract systems performing system enhancements in conjunction with Stryker IT and the EU ProCare commercial analyst.
  • Ongoing data cleansing, ensuring opportunity for sales teams are accurate and assigned accordingly.


We are looking for:

  • Finalized studies in economics + several years experience in business services or customer care with a main focus on contrat and customer management.
  • Experience in an international work environment and intercultural competence.
  • Highly sales and service oriented.
  • Strong in communication and winning people.
  • High analytical skills.
  • Must have a superb customer service ethic.
  • Proven track record of process innovation and for driving through departmental improvements.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and with demonstrable influencing skill.
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle ERP, and SalesForce CRM preferred.
  • Fluent in German & English speaking and writing
