What you will do:

  • Facilitate requirements, architecture, and behavior decisions at Levels 1, 2, and 3*.
  • In collaboration with Lead System Designers (LSD), create Level 1 and Level 2 requirements in Integrity for assigned program(s).
  • In collaboration with System Feature Owners (SFO), create Level 3 requirements in Integrity for assigned program(s).
  • Create traces between Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 requirements in Integrity for assigned program(s).
  • Arrange, facilitate, and document Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 Requirements Technical Reviews for assigned programs.
  • Define and manage Level 2 Module-to-Module interfaces for assigned program(s).
  • Create Level 1 and Level 2 program-specific architecture diagrams in Enterprise Architect for assigned program(s).
  • In collaboration with System Feature Owners (SFO), create Level 1 and Level 2 behavior diagrams in Enterprise Architect for assigned program(s).
  • Create Level 1 and Level 2 Architecture and Behavior Description(s) for assigned program(s). Arrange, facilitate, and document Level 1 and Level 2 Architecture and Behavior Description Technical Reviews.
  • Provide Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) responsible for common elements with descriptions of program-specific subsystems and interfaces between them.
  • Guide System Feature Owners (SFO) in the development and integration of Level 3 behavior diagrams in Enterprise Architect for assigned program(s).
  • Create product description summary(ies) for assigned program(s).
  • Create work breakdown structures in Project or Excel for Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 requirements, architecture, behavior, risk, and, as needed, qualification work for assigned program(s).
  • Collaborate with Project Leads to create Systems Engineering schedules.
  • In collaboration with the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) responsible for common elements, manage requirements, architecture, and behavior description (models and documents) configuration and change for assigned program(s).
  • Create and maintain the requirements trace matrix (DIOVV) for assigned program(s).
  • Create and publish cross-program internal standards and best practices pertaining to requirements, architecture, and/or behavior as directed.
  • Follow internal standards and best practices pertaining to requirements, architecture, and behavior, and educate other members of the organization on the same.
  • Participate as independent reviewers in the Requirements Technical Reviews and the Architecture and Behavior Description Technical Reviews of peer Lead Systems Engineers (LSE).
  • Bring organizational attention to, and use of, requirements, architecture, and behavior methods, tools, and content.
  • Identify and manage requirements, architecture, and behavior issues for assigned program(s). Participate in Clinical Architecture team meetings.
  • Provide weekly status reports on progress toward objectives.
  • Record time allocated to each program being supported at the end of each week.
  • Record expenses projected and actual expenses before and after occurrence and submit related expense reports.

What you Need:

  • BS or higher in engineering, computer science, or applied physics.
  • At least INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) status.
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least five (5) years of subject matter experience.
  • At least one (1) product launch experience.
  • At least one (1) program planning experience.
  • At least basic knowledge of industry-standard software development methods.
  • At least a three (3) year commitment to Systems Engineering.
