What You Will Do;

The primary function of this role is to assemble sets, kits, and orders for PLCM (product life cycle management) related activites for Joint Replacement and Trauma & Extremeties.  This includes putting together kits for the loan fleet, trays of instruments for the hospitals, and picking orders of implants to fulfil PLCM activites such as implant and instrument swap out, launching new product lines, and other related activities.  The operative is expected to manage their daily workload and tasks, report activity to the appropriate channels to include their manager, the planner, and the receipient of the PLCM materials.

PLCM is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, through engineering design and manufacture, to service and disposal of manufactured products.  Specifically relating to this position PLCM will be about two cycles phases of a product life: the introduction of new products/brands and the management of the end of life cycle in the decline phase of a product/brand for Stryker.

What You Need:

Education

  • A levels or higher (or equivalent)

Experience required:

  • Office Environment – experience working in a professional working environment.
  • Proven excellent communication skills

Experience preferred:

  • Product Life Cycle experience – experience working with PLCM or similar work
  • Assembly line or manufacturing – work within a company that has had a PLCM focus
  • Medical Device Industry -  Experience within the industry dealing with sterile and non-sterile components

Ability to communicate in a highly effective manner and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments. Must be IT literate and efficient in an administrative environment. They must have the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritizing and organising workload. Problem solving skills and a great telephone manner are also vital to this role.
