The Test Team Manager is responsible for supporting test activities for the Global ERP Program.  This role will work closely with the Program Test Lead to ensure readiness & successful execution for various test cycles. 

Test Team Manager, Performance & Regression Testing - Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of resources to support Prep & Execution activities – including support during contracting, interviewing candidates, ensuring KT plan is in place, proper onboarding, in conjunction with the System Integrator (SI) Test Lead
  • Establishment of Test Strategy for Regression Testing – determine environments, rounds, mix of automated vs. manual, including scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
  • Ensures Test Readiness: Across multiple workstream, coordinate with, with Process Owners (BPOs & ISPO) to confirm scope for cycle (s) and ensure scenarios are created properly in test tool (ALM). Work in alignment with System Integrator to maintain necessary test cases/scripts.
  • Establish & Communicate status & metrics of cycles.
  • Capture Data needs/requirements from working sessions with BPOs/ISPOs and Wave team. Coordinate any data prep with appropriate resources. Ensure Data/Parameter sheets are available for scenarios.
  • Facilitate by workstream daily test status meeting, to provide Testing Status Reporting to Test Lead
  • Monitors Execution and Defect Closure
  • Attends Defect Meetings provide updates; When needed set and facilitate targeted meetings to set actions for defect closure.
  • Support Testers with HP-ALM investigations
  • Support scheduling activities for test cycles.
  • Partner System connection – ensure participation in sessions and communication where they are needed, in conjunction with the BPO/ISPO POC.
  • With Test Lead & Test Factory Leads, managing resource plans and requirements for cycles.
  • Create long term strategy for performance testing - Long term approach should focus on leveraging ALM scripts for performance testing either using UFT. Strategy to address how performance testing will be integrated various releases
  • Support performance team with the scripting, execution and reporting of release performance test.
  • Work with SAP Max Attention in VTO planning and execution.

Education & Special Trainings:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study preferred or the equivalent.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Life Sciences and/or Medical Device including experience working in Software testing and IS/IT organizations.
  • Experience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV), FDA regulations (e.g., GMP, GLP, GCP), auditing, and SOX compliance requirements.
  • Mandatory Functional Skill: Ability to Plan, Strategize, Estimate effort and Guide Team.
  • Knowledge of IS process frameworks (e.g., CobIT, ITIL). Applying these standards in a medical device environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Testing Tools such as HPALM, Silk Performer and UFT.
  • Introductory understanding of functional area and “end to end” global business processes.
