What You Will Do

Project Management and Team Leadership

  • Lead project team(s) of varying size and complexity with strategic focus on efficiency and business risk management. Identify opportunities and champion creative solutions
  • Execute product field actions across the site portfolio as needed
  • Pro-actively monitor and maintain global regulatory compliance
  • Implement new and improved processes which supports our Quality System
  • Manage the project timeline, budget, resources, and risks to meet QMS/Regulatory requirements and follow our business process requirements
  • Promote a culture of accountability across the team. Engage team members and motivate them to deliver.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate project risks. Facilitate timely and data-driven decision-making to support the project timeline and budget.

Stakeholder Management

  • Direct responsibility for keeping the Senior Leadership Team informed of project status; help drive our Quality Planning strategy.
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. Build credibility through effective and proactive relationship management.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree; Emphasis in management, Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline - Finance, Procurement, IS, R&D or Operations preferred.
  • Proven track-record: experience successfully launching projects as a project manager.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project; experience creating and regularly maintaining project timeliness
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Global IS to ensure project success.
  • Passion: This leader needs to be constantly thinking about how to drive predictability in the process/system/tools development and how to continuously improve the practice of project management.
  • Collaborative: The default state of the leader needs to be collaborative, open and curious. 

You may also have

  • Experience working in a regulated environment; knowledge of medical device quality systems
