Under the direction of the Director of the EMEA Compliance Center of Expertise, the Associate Compliance Manager will work on several projects related to compliance process improvements & deployment of global compliance systems. This person will support the full EMEA region and will have a close connection to the Corporate Compliance Informatics team in the US.

Processes and Systems in scope of this function will relate to Management of compliant Interactions with Healthcare Providers and Healthcare Organisations, Management of Indirect Channel due diligence and Management of Third Party Vendors relationships.

The Associate Compliance Manager will contribute to the successful implementation of the different projects by:

  • Participating in design sessions with the US Informatics team to build the global systems to the process needs as they are present in the EMEA region
  • Building up core launch teams with the different stakeholders in the commercial businesses and with the finance partners
  • Project manage the system deployments, keep track of deadlines, key milestones, tackle challenges
  • Continuously communicate about the system deployment progress to the compliance and legal teams, the other members of the compliance center of expertise, the business stakeholders and the final users
  • Provide process and system trainings where relevant in a centralized way or through train-the-trainer cascading
  • Work with the COE on monitoring and reporting, so that systems are set up in a way that relevant data intelligence can be extracted from the system after deployment
  • Continuously challenge the effectiveness and efficiency of current compliance processes and propose improvements and opportunity for simplification


  • Undergraduate Degree required, Graduate Degree preferred.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Recommended 6-8 years experience. 
  • Demonstrates professional demeanor and is perceived as competent with developing conflict management skills. 
  • Demonstrates ability to manage and support change in a dynamic environment. 
  • Developing ability to educate and empower others.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills.
  • Work is completed in a timely and thorough manner with minimal rework.
  • Well-developed ability to show discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic understanding of budgets and expense management. 
  • Able to work under general supervision and instruction of more experienced staff. 
  • Demonstrates developing managerial /influence skills.
  • Possesses and applies broad and advanced knowledge skills/abilities and understanding of law, policy procedure and business applications. 
  • Demonstrates well-developed ability to anticipate impact and proactively take initiative beyond direct responsibilities.
