Job Description: Coordinates the delivery and supports the design of advertising/marketing communications materials to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and prospects. Coordinates and supports the development of multimedia packages (e.g., letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays). Supports the business strategy by recommending, developing and executing communication plans aligned with our internal communication needs for leadership and employees.  Acts as an internal resource to support existing and new business needs for the joint replacement division and functional partners.


  • Develop communication and/or vehicle strategies for joint replacement leadership including town halls and meetings
  • Evaluate communication metrics to determine audience engagement and evaluate new opportunities and strategies to increase reach and penetration of internal communication channels
  • Manage editorial and content for various communication channels including employee intranet
  • Develop relationships with marketing, sales, functional and operation team partners to support on-going communications
  • Participate in creating and executing communications plans for employee and leadership engagement
  • Uphold visual and verbal brand standards for all communications work to ensure consistent look, feel and tonality

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in communications or marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated strong communications skills, including writing, editing, verbal (interpersonal) and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within defined deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge around various communication channels including digital, social, and media
