(Contract until the end of year, with potential to be extended in 2020)

Setting Direction:

  • Analyze data to support the sales Divisions in relation to the best options for sourcing the Kits and Assets being requested by the sales teams in Italy.
  • Provide support to the Asset manager and Divisions to define the optimal level of existing consignment inventory and related optimization
  • Support the Division with data analytics to sustain cost-effective decisions on CERs
  • Provide business support on the management of expiry dates in consignment and product replacements, providing rationale to confirm or reject the replacement based on actual ROI
  • Fulfill the quality policy and comply with company’s SOP

Building Organizational Capability:

  • Propose procedural changes and new or more effective ways to accomplish tasks
  • Propose process improvements to be more efficient
  • Participate to local or European projects, providing individual contribution to further improve asset and inventory management capabilities resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimized inventory levels.
  • Participate in monitoring the request of new investments, liaising with Supply Chain to ensure assets and inventory are available when required / needed by customers.
  • Build, liaise and maintain relationships and collaborates with colleagues across functions (Operations, Finance, etc.), divisions (Sales, Marketing) and leadership.
  • Contribute to the forecasting process, providing data on customer demand and inventory on hand.

  • Support the team and represent the supervisor in his\her absence for the local assets and inventory related topics.
  • Support the business by sharing of expertise, promoting a free flow of information across the organization and building collaborative networks internally and externally.

Delivering Results:

  • Support the Asset Supervisor and business on the returns of underperforming kits and assets from the field.
  • Track and handle CERs
  • Support on reporting of budget spent to the divisions
  • Check request received against contract or tender to validate the request
  • Raise and monitor purchase requests against capital budget (budgets received from Divisions).
  • Monitor the PO arrival and allocation of new investments
  • Analyze data and provide reports with inventory figures and detailed ROI to decision makers.
  • Track and reporting on Return on Investments (ROI) for local investments made (Kits & consignment, capital placement, both new investments and integrations)
  • Monitor the return of unprofitable investments and provide suggestions to reallocate them
  • Contribute to achieve the assets and inventory Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Track and analyze STC and Demo fleet (turns, returns, etc.) and contribute to optimize Kit and Demo fleet .
  • Monitor ‘pending kits’ and provide visibility to the Supervisor
  • Gather, analyze, validate and clean Kit & consignment data
  • Create, analyze and modify BOMs in the system as per inputs received by Marketing team
  • Provide input to CS to process new LTC request in the ERP and make sure the request is fulfilled

  • Degree Finance & Logistics (or Supply Chain or Business & Economics) or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is essential



Proven record of accomplishment in Inventory and Asset management including:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Operations and preferably in an Asset related role.
  • Experience in Medical Device is a plus.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics, ERP knowledge.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and other relevant software programs.
  • Interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business


  • Experience in international environment.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Supply Chain
  • Building and using reporting tools.
