Essential Functions:

Assist with budget tracking and creation/preparation of presentations.

Assist with monthly reporting

Screen incoming/outgoing communication and edit

Provide administrative support to department

Create/prepare expense reports

Domestic and international meeting and travel planning

Calendar/schedule maintenance

Ordering, stocking and organizing of office supplies

Delivery and sorting of departmental mail

Coordination of R&D Business Reporting including but not limited to; Monthly Corporate Reports, Highlights, Business Planning & Business Review

Updating and maintaining R&D Connect site

Assigning of Watchdog auditors and tracking of timely completion of audits

Creating & maintaining file system for CMM projects

Maintaining supplies and trouble shooting and/or scheduling repair for various copiers, printers, and scanners department wide

Coordination of Events including but not limited to; offsite meetings, Steering Team meetings in Kalamazoo & Canada, R&D Annual events

Perform additional duties as assigned


  • High School Education or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to assist internal and external customers
  • Possess attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
